🌙 You Don’t Need All the Answers to Begin

Welcome to The Journal—a space for curiosity, reflection and finding your own way.

One of the questions I hear most often is, “Where do I start?”

Sometimes it comes from someone who has just discovered crystals or feels curious about meditation. Sometimes it comes from someone who has been exploring spirituality for years but feels overwhelmed by everything they think they should know.

My answer begins in the same place: you don’t have to learn everything at once.

You can begin with a question. With a few quiet minutes. With the willingness to notice what matters to you.

That belief is at the heart of Path of Awakening, and it feels like the right place to begin our first journal entry. ✨

🌿 How this journey began

For the past five years, My Healing Harmony has been my passion and my community. Through conversations, teachings and time spent listening, I’ve met so many people who want to explore their spiritual side but don’t quite know how.

I hear questions about intuition, changing beliefs, rituals and how to bring spiritual practices into an already busy life. Often, underneath those questions is something more personal:

“Am I the only person who feels unsure?”

You aren’t.

Exploring what you believe can feel exciting and unsettling. You might find yourself drawn to ideas you’ve never considered before, or questioning things you once accepted without much thought. You’re allowed to take your time with that. You don’t have to choose a label or reach a conclusion straight away.

I wanted to create something that offered a little guidance without adding to the overwhelm. Something clear enough to help you begin, with room for your own questions and discoveries.

That is how Path of Awakening started to take shape.

đź“– A story to follow, a collection to make your own

There is something special about finding a moment of recognition in a story. A character asks a question you’ve been carrying, or a passage puts words to something you haven’t quite been able to explain.

Through the unfolding Path of Awakening story, I wanted to explore that sense of discovery: the curiosity, hesitation and small decisions that can lead us towards a different understanding of ourselves.

Alongside the story, the collectible grimoire pages offer teachings, reflections and rituals to explore in your own life.

If the word grimoire is new to you, think of it as a collection of spiritual knowledge and practices. Yours can also hold your notes, questions and experiences. You can write down what you enjoyed, what you found difficult and what you’re still thinking about.

Sophie, our illustrator, is working alongside me to bring these pages to life. Seeing the ideas develop through her artwork has been one of the most meaningful parts of creating this project. Every collection brings our love of storytelling, learning and creativity together.

🍂 Why our first chapter begins with Samhain

For our opening collection, I chose Samhain as a starting point for reflection.

Its themes of remembrance, endings and the turning towards darker days give us space to consider what has shaped us and what we want to carry forward. Within our story, it becomes a threshold—a place where curiosity begins to open a door.

That feels fitting for a journey of self-discovery. Before we decide what comes next, it can help to pause and ask where we are now.

What have we learned? Which beliefs still feel meaningful? What would we like to understand more deeply?

You don’t need a dramatic answer. Sometimes, simply allowing yourself to ask the question is enough for one day.

Our first collection is marked 001, with each following number adding another instalment to the story and your growing grimoire. Those numbers help you gather the pages in order. There is no expectation that your personal understanding will follow such a tidy sequence.

You may return to an earlier page months later and find something new in it.

🕯️ A simple place to start today

Before you buy anything or try to build a whole new routine, give yourself five quiet minutes.

Sit somewhere comfortable and let your attention settle on the room around you. Notice the support beneath you, the sounds nearby and how you’re feeling without trying to change it.

Then take a notebook and finish these three sentences:

  • I’m curious about…
  • I would like more space for…
  • One small thing I could explore this week is…

Keep your answers honest and manageable. You might want to read about a particular subject, spend time outside or try a short meditation. You might realise that what you need most is a break from searching for answers.

Choose one small step and let that be enough.

🌙 Stay curious—and give yourself room to question

As you explore, you will come across different explanations, beliefs and traditions. Some may feel meaningful to you; others may not.

You’re allowed to question what you read, including what you read here. Take time to consider ideas before making them part of your practice.

You also don’t have to give every dream, feeling or coincidence a spiritual explanation. You can appreciate an experience, reflect on it and leave its meaning undecided. Staying connected to everyday life, trusted people and your own judgement is part of exploring thoughtfully.

My hope is that Path of Awakening helps you feel more confident asking questions and finding practices that fit your life.

đź’Ś Welcome to The Journal

This journal will be a place to share reflections, approachable spiritual practices, seasonal inspiration and glimpses behind the pages we’re creating.

Whether you join the monthly collection or simply stop here to read, you are welcome.

Thank you for being here at the beginning. It means so much to be able to share something that has grown from years of conversations with our community.

For now, perhaps the question to carry with you is this:

What am I curious enough to take one small step towards?

With love,
